Lowcountry Delicious Shrimp and Crab Finger Scampi... easy and delicious!!

This recipe will make you"almost swallow your tongue" as my mother used to say - it's so good!!


2 tbsp canola oil

20 large, fresh, peeled and deveined shrimp

1 cup dry white wine

20 large crab claws or crab fingers

3/4 cup unsalted butter cut into pieces

3 tbsp finely copped fresh parsley

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Kosher salt

freshly ground white pepper


Heat oil in 12 inch skillet over medium heat

Add shrimp cook 2 minutes on each side

transfer the shrimp to a plate


Add white wine to skillet and stir with a wooden spoon being sure to scrape the bottom of the pan

bring mixture to boil and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until the mixture is reduced by half

Add reserved shrimp and crab claws to the skillet

Cook another 1 to 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated


Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the butter one piece at a time  Stir in the parsley and the lemon juice

Season with salt and pepper to taste
